Grief both collective and personal has been linked to a sense of spiritual drought, emotional confusion and illness. It becomes paramount to emotionally release that pain otherwise it impacts on our health, relationships, smothering , creativity, joy and ability to connect with others. Sobonfu brings a rich and ancient tradition of grieving from her people their soul growth is honored and nurtured through participating in ritual, gathering together as a village and community, drawing on and using personal and collective images and stories that release tension that has buried deep within the psyche. Together we will re create sacred space, and our village through rhythm, drum, song and dance be supported to release the losses we have endured within this lifetime. These ancient ritual gatherings and teachings provide a deeply powerful yet safe space to support our grieving experience, leading us to self-discovery and self-mastery.
