Program: Walking for Water is a year round fundraising effort designed to give the gift of life -- water wells-- to villages in Africa. Through Walking for Water, teenagers from across the USA and other Western countries learn to about themselves, their gifts, broaden their horizon and learn about giving back to others with the support of adults. Throughout the year teenagers, children and adults fundraise for wells and get sponsors children education in Africa. For the young people Walking for water is a way to show they care about and value life across the world. It is also a way to get a support group in defining one’s own gifts. The Walking for Water day is a way to celebrate heart connections. Come join us for a fun and exciting time while raising funds for wells in Africa. There will be drumming, food and other fun events.
